Scottlamp LED Utility Light - Further Information
Aimed primarily at the marine market, the SLUL has an integral swivel red lens ideal for night sailing. Its built it buoyancy makes it easier to retrieve if ever dropped overboard. All the electronics are sealed within the lens making the unit waterproof.
The SLUL has been tested by BSi and complies to the IPX7 standard. The LEDs have 30,000 hours meantime berfore failure time (MTBF) and are arranged with built in redundancy so that if one LED fails only a bank of two LEDs will stop instead of the whole lamp.
The SLUL is available in 12 and 24 volt versions, making it ideal for a broad range of applications such as commercial vehicles, telecoms and aviation.
The SLUL comes with the following accessories: in-line cable hook, and storage/mounting spring clip. Other accessories available include: 240 Volt adaptor for 12V options.
Typically a fully charged 12 Volt 30 Amp car battery will provide enough power to use the SLUL for over 150 hours continuously - that is over 6 days!
